Since its birth in 2010, Arya’s Dance Academy has seen lots of struggle, but has grown in leaps and bounds over these years. With various events and annual shows being organised every year, ADA is definitely an eventful name in the dance world of Kolkata today. However, there was one dream that Mr. Pranav Arya had embedded in his heart since long. And 2017 was the year to shape up that dream into reality. Thus, the first ever National Level Dance competition, organised by ADA happened in 2017 – JHOOM BARABAR JHOOM. This event focussed at finding the best dancers from the country, who desire to showcase their talent, but fail to get the proper platform. JBJ has laid the stepping stone for them.
After series of auditions in different cities across India, the Grand Finale was held on 24th June 2017. The most happening event deserved a legend’s presence as well. So it was the veteran Bollywood Choreographer Saroj Khan this time, as the Super Judge in the finale. Kolkata had once again witnessed a class of a show. With all the final contestants performing their level best, the pomp and show of this gala event was truly amazing. The winner was awarded with a winning amount of Rs 2,00,000, followed by Rs 50,000 and Rs 25,000 for the first and the second runner up respectively.
Today, when the different TV channels are flooded with the dance reality shows, there are still many dance who are eagerly waiting to get a chance to participate in one of such events and prove their talents within.
When these REALITY shows become their DREAMS, Arya’s Dance Academy brings forth a chance for them in the form of a dance competition, names Jhoom Baraabar Jhoom or JBJ.
Brainchild of Mr. Pranav Arya – JBJ Season 1 definitely will prove a ray of hope for many young talents.
This competition will be focussing on candidates across India. This will comprise of Solo, Duet and Group performances. Professional and amateur dancers will perform to showcase their talents through series of rounds and be assessed by a panel of judges. However, the Finale contestants of JBJ Season 1will be judged by veteran Bollywood choreographer Saroj Khan.
The Winning amount will be INR 2,00,000, followed by INR 50,000 and INR 25,000 respectively for the first runners up and the second runners up.
JBJ will feature dancers from various styles, enrolled through a registration process in different cities of India.
The Finale however, will be hosted in Kolkata, West Bengal.
Once selected through the first audition, the participants will be placed through further series of selection processes, finally landing up to the Finale with those selected participants.
